Our Privacy Policy governs the privacy terms of our website, located at, sub-domains, and any associated web-based and mobile applications (collectively referred as, "Platform"), as owned and operated by Bookenza Services Private Limited (hereafter to be referred as “Bookenza”).

When you use our Platform, you’re trusting us with your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, make use of personal information and what we do to ensure it is kept private and secure in accordance with Applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the personal information collected by Bookenza and does not apply to Third Party websites. Bookenza is not responsible for the privacy policies of Third-Party websites. You should read the privacy policies of other websites before providing them with any personal information about you.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If we make any significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you through email or directly through our Platform.

  1. Definitions
    • Affliate means in relation to Bookenza any entity that from time to time directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Bookenza;
    • Customer is the User using Bookenza platform to obtain the needed beauty and wellness services from the Partners of the Bookenza;
    • Third Party means an entity other than the Customer, Partner and Bokenza who is hired by Bookenza to facilitate the needed services in respect to the Platform;
    • Information is non-public information that is personally identifiable to the Customer and obtained for Bookenza to efficiently operate the Platform. It may include information such as customer name, phone number, date of birth, and other related information that the Customer provide to us or that we obtain from the Customer.
    • Partner means a business owner (beauty and wellness) who uses the Bookenza Platform to receive bookings and engage with Customers;
    • Platform means our website, located at, sub-domains, and any associated web-based and mobile applications as owned and operated by Bookenza;
    • Privacy Policy means this Privacy Policy which may be amended from time-to-time.

  2. Information we collect

    Bookenza uses your information for the purpose of completing your bookings that includes sharing your personal information with our Partners in order for them to fulfill their duty in the service which you have booked and expect to be delivered.

    1. The information we ask you to provide

      As part of making a booking with our Partners, you are required to create an account on our Platform and as part of the account registration, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, gender, date of birth, city and state. However, as part of making an up-front payment at the time of booking appointment, you will be directed to the Third Party payment gateway (i.e. where you will be asked to provide your billing information (credit card number, cardholder name and expiry date). Please be aware that all Razorpay transactions are subject to the Razorpay privacy policy and terms of use. Bookenza recommends you become familiar with these first before you complete any transactions with Razorpay using our Platform.

    2. The information we collect automatically

      When you visit and engage with our Platform, we collect information such as the device, unique device ID number, your internet website provider name, web browser type, survey responses, upcoming and previous appointment details, favorite Partner, browser type, IP address and location, the date and time that you visited, the duration of your visit, referral source, referral code shared, usage and balance in Bookenza wallet, name of the website from which you entered our Platform, if any, as well as the name of the website to which you're headed when you leave our Platform. If you have your location feature turned on, we use information to only show localized content that’s relevant to you and you can switch this off at any time from your phone settings.

    3. The information we collect from Third Party(s)

      Bookenza may lawfully obtain personal information from our Partners including updated contact information, like email or phone number and payment made in person that we need to add to our account information we have about you. Additionally, Bookenza collects information about you when you engage with us in live chat or phone call. This is for the purpose to provide you with a better online booking experience (for example resolving any requests for a refund).

    We may associate this information back to your account profile. Collecting this information enables us to better understand who comes to Bookenza, where they come from and what is of interest to them. We use this information for internal analytical purposes and to improve the quality and relevance of Bookenza. We also use this information to protect and prevent online fraud.

  3. How we use the Information we collect

    We will only use your personal information for the purposes as defined in this Privacy Policy and/or when the Applicable law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal information in the following circumstances:

    • Where we need to execute an agreement with you as part of your registration in our Platform;
    • When you Schedule or re-schedule appointments through our Platform;
    • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation;
    • To provide you with offers for products and services from participating Partners, including offers based on variables such as stated and anticipated Customer interests, personal characteristics, or location;
    • To recommend certain Partners offerings to you (e.g., to suggest Partners to add to your favorites page or remind you when it's time to rebook a service);
    • To facilitate and fulfil requests for appointments for Partner offerings;
    • To evaluate eligibility of customers for certain offers, products or services;
    • To track redemption of Partner offerings and perform other analytics;
    • To operate and improve our services and offerings on the Platform;
    • In providing customer support, including to our Partners;
    • To process and deliver the contest entries and rewards;
    • To promote and display relevant advertising;
    • To aggregate the data for internal analytics and improve our Platform experience;
    • To communicate and provide additional information that may be of interest to you or our Partner about Bookenza;
    • To send you reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
    • To administer surveys, contests, or other promotional activities or events sponsored by us or our partners;
    • To manage our everyday business needs such as administration of the Platform.

    Your information will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection law where it can be stored in India or other countries.

  4. Disclosing your Information

    Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share the personal information that we collect with Third Party(s), unless you ask or authorize us to do so. However, there are occasions where we may need to disclose your personal information to carry out the needed services, they are performing for us. We may disclose personal information as follows:

    • When any booking is made by you through our platform, your information is provided to the Partner to facilitate the booking. The Partner will be using this information such as (1) phone number to text or contact you regarding your booking. (2) your date of birth or your wedding anniversary dates to verify and provide special discounts on such days to Bookenza’s Moon membership subscribers. (3) we may also share with the Partner your reviews on the obtained service(s) from the Partner. (4) we may also provide certain information about your purchase, refund, including your name and the balance amount in your Bookenza wallet.
    • All the up-front payments made for your up-front booking is handled by Razorpay (Third Party payment service provider) where these Third Parties may also store your credit or debit card information other than your CVV number. You should read the privacy policies of such Third Parties before providing them with any personal information about you.
    • Our platform may allow you to share feedback or rate our service on social media platforms of Third Party such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram including Android playstore and Apple Appstore. It is your responsibility in choosing what to disclose as public and with whom to connect on such Third-Party platforms. Bookenza does not control the privacy practices of such Third-Party platforms.
    • We may disclose your information with:
      • affiliated companies (e.g., subsidiaries and other companies owned by or controlled by Bookenza);
      • Service providers that are hired by us needed services, such as platform hosting, email services, cloud provider, customer support and payment gateway;
      • Partners where you have purchased services from a Partner through Bookenza;
      • Other users on the Platform, where they can see the reviews or feedbacks made by you on the services of the Partner. This shall be limited to your name and the feedback.
      • Authorized designated employees of Bookenza as part of day to day business activities;
      • Other Third Party(s) to comply with the laws and respond to lawful request and legal process;
      • Alternatively, if a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal information in the same way as set out in this policy;

    Bookenza does not control the privacy practices of the Partners and Third Parties, thereby, please contact the Partner or the Third Party directly if you want to learn about its privacy practices.

  5. Safeguarding your personal information

    Safeguarding your personal information is vital to Bookenza where we are committed in protecting the personal information, we collect in respective to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

    We continuously implement appropriate measures in our capacity to protect the personal information that we collect and process about you. However, no method of online transactions or any method of electronic storage, can be fully secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information every time. We assume no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, un-authorized Third-Party access, or other events beyond our control. Hence, we encourage you to use caution when disclosing information online. Where, you are in the best situation to protect yourself online. You are responsible for protecting your username and password from third party access, and for selecting passwords that are secure.

  6. Privacy Policy Updates

    We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time as required. We recommend you to review this Privacy Policy frequently. However, any made material changes to this policy, we may notify you on our Platform, by email, or by any method we determine. The method we chose is at our sole discretion. We will also change the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. Any changes we make to our Privacy Policy are effective as of this Last Updated date and replace any prior Privacy Policies.
